Anne Irvine has had a lifelong commitment to art, and always loved drawing more than any other creative experience. On discovering etching in 2007, she set up a studio and has been a full time printmaker ever since. Anne says etching is an ideal medium for exploring drawing techniques and provides technical challenges as well as the excitement of peeling the print from the plate to see what is there. Her work is usually based on natural objects.
